Join the PSU Alumni Association for a memorable night at the Portland Art Museum for exclusive access to their exhibit Animating Life: The Art, Science, and Wonder of LAIKA, a groundbreaking view behind-the-curtain into the visionary artistry and technology of the globally renowned animation studio. As our featured event during Alumni Month, we are excited to bring this opportunity to you, to celebrate the success of this Academy Award-winning animation studio and its president and PSU alumnus, Travis Knight.
This family-friendly event kicks off with a reception in the beautiful Fields Sunken Ballroom and features a behind the scenes preview of the exhibit from one of LAIKA’s own. Following the talk, you will have private afterhours access to the exhibit to tour at your own pace.
Tasty hors d'oeuvres and refreshments are provided by Elephant’s Delicatessen.

5:45pm – LAIKA talk begins
7:00pm – Tour the LAIKA Exhibit at your own pace
9:00pm – Exhibit closes
Early Bird Admission: $35.00 per person if purchased by Sunday, March 18th.
Regular Price: $55.00 per person if purchased on Monday, March 19th or after.
Cost includes: Admission to the LAIKA exhibit closed off to the general public, hors d'oeuvres, hosted non-alcoholic beverages, two drink tickets good for beer, wine or call drink (21 years & older), and a special presentation by LAIKA.
