Living in the Pacific Northwest, we have all heard about the Big One. The massive earthquake that is supposed to hit the entire west coast from Seattle down to California. Portland State University professor and area expert on all things earthquake related, Dr. Scott Burns will talk in depth about the Big One, what will happen based on historical geological events, what scientists know now, and what to expect today. Dr. Burns will also discuss earthquake preparedness and the early warning system.
