Lars Ostlind

Lars Ostlind is a Manufacturing Engineering manager at the Boeing Company’s Portland site.  He has worked over 25 years for Boeing, both at the Seattle and Portland sites.    Lars has worked as a Manufacturing Engineer, Liaison Engineer, Payloads Engineers, Tooling Engineer, and QA manager.  He  has had an exciting career in building airplanes. Every day at Boeing there have been new challenges and opportunities for him.
Lars is a native Oregonian who was interested in airplanes at an early age having traveled to Denmark several times as a child to visit his grandfather.  He attended Benson High school and majored in Aviation and Fluid Power.  After high school, Lars went to Portland Community College and then Oregon Tech and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology.  Later, Lars earned his Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.  Lars enjoys spending time with his family, camping, skiing, beach trips, cruising, and traveling.

Patty Nelson: Patty Nelson, a Portland native and graduate of Portland State, has been involved in talent acquisition for high tech companies in the Portland metro area for more than 20 years. As the Staffing and University Manager for Electro Scientific Industries (ESI) she is involved in recruiting all levels of candidates from interns to executives. Her favorite part of the job is finding the ideal candidate; the one that has the skills, the cultural fit and the passion to be that perfect addition to the ESI team.
Prior to joining ESI, she served as Global Staffing and University Relations Manager for Tektronix.

Jonathan Stimson: Jonathan has been at Skanska for 7 years working as an HR Generalist. In his role, his primary responsibility is to support the Portland operations group as well as to manage Skanska’s college recruiting program for the western region which includes 7 offices across 5 states.

Ryan Larson: I am originally from California but transplanted to the rainy skies of Portland in 2009. I have grown to love this rainy city and I am proud to call it home. I enjoy the outdoors and during the Spring and Summer I enjoy golfing, hiking, and camping. I also love to run, and the trails the northwest provides are second to none.
I started college in 2007 and I originally majored in Business Administration, but I had always been interested in computers. During my middle and high school years, I spent countless hours building fancy computers and overclocking them. At first I just loved to mess around with the hardware, but I grew interested in web design and development. After feeling unfulfilled in my pursuit of a business degree, I decided to change course and make my long time hobby into a career. I changed my major to Computer Science in 2009 and I will graduate in the Summer of 2013 with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. I am excited to be doing what I love for a living.

Abram Jenks: Abram has been at Skanska for 10 years and during his career he has managed a wide variety of construction projects including: healthcare, education and even the FBI. In his role as Project Manager he is responsible for managing a team of Skanska employees and several subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed on time and on schedule.
