ABOUT ABOUT

The Portland State University Alumni Association (PSUAA), in partnership with departments across PSU, present a monthly panel series designed to provide insight on some of Portland’s most topical issues and successful industries: Food Deserts, Athletic & Outdoor, Self-Driving Cars, & Design Thinking.

For the third event, PSU Alumni Association partners with PSU’s Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science to present an insightful panel on autonomous vehicles and how they impact our environment and society.

Gain insight from industry experts on potential security concerns, learn about the impact that automated driving has on car and truck manufacturers, and hear from the perspective of a traffic technologist about the societal impacts of this rising technology. Come join the discussion with our expert panelists as they share their experiences and first-hand knowledge of the various ways autonomous vehicles will have an impact on your community.
