The Portland State University Alumni Association in partnership with departments across PSU present the first event of a 4-part speaker series designed to provide insights about some of Portland’s most topical and successful industries: Engineering, Data Analytics, Sustainability, and Athletic & Outdoor. Thought leaders from these industries will discuss future trends, and the competencies you will need to position yourself for the career opportunities on the horizon.

The first series, in partnership with the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science will focus on:

  • Hiring the next generation of engineers

  • How to transfer current knowledge to the next generation of engineers

  • How to evolve the current generation

  • How to address the aging workforce

  • What skills and traits job seekers need to know
