ABOUT ABOUT

Career Focused Event: How to Make a Career Left Turn by Jenny Foss of JobJenny.com

Plenty of us would love to (or are actually planning to) make a significant career change, a proverbial "left turn". But what tends to scare people the most (or convince them to not do it all together) is that they don't know how to position themselves as an attractive match for these new types of opportunities. Worse, many people don't really even know how to determine if their ideas have merit or, if they do, how to construct a tangible game plan to move them in this new direction.

Returning speaker Jenny Foss of JobJenny.com will help those considering a career left turn how to evaluate their big ideas and begin crafting plans for the transition. She'll share tips on how to break the big (and often formidable) picture down into smaller chunks and start rolling forward into manageable phases.
She'll also share tips on adjusting your professional brand to speak directly to this new industry or audience.

About Jenny:

She's a Detroit girl turned West Coaster (Portland, to be precise), been a journalist, marketing communications strategist and recruiter for most of her professional life.
She's a full-on believer that, if you can blast away some of the fear, confusion and overwhelm that always seems to accompany change, you'll be much more equipped to move toward the job of your dreams, build your entrepreneurial empire, or grow your career like you mean business.

5:30 pm: Doors open! Your cost of admission includes a free drink ticket for a BridgePort brew and an amazing spread of appetizers. Grab a drink and make some new personal & professional connections!

Mark your calendars! We hope to see you then!!

This event is open to the community.
